Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ezequiel Pereira started the match with the kick off. Lobo Guará's attentive Glauco Tasso managed to snatch the ball when Jose Carita made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 24th minute of the match. Ezequiel Pereira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Pereira in the 28th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sandrinho Machado hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Ezequiel Pereira made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Pereira in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Ezequiel Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Ezequiel Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Ezequiel Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ezequiel Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobo Guará's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berker Başhekim to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Panama booed when Lobo Guará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berker Başhekim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro de Moraes in the 83rd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The Lobo Guará fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute, Ciro de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Lobo Guará players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
