Jaime Cazalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Jardim América FC's Agostinho Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 31st minute of play forced Jardim América FC's goalkeeper 高文川 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, Jardim América FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Owen Gallagher to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 高文川 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Agostinho Bittencourt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Ferris, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jardim América FC's Richard Vargas was substituted for Téo Cruz. In the 59th minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alberto Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Alberto Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. 63 minutes into the match, Uruguay's Francisco Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 高文川 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with 高文川 in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Jardim América FC's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 高文川 came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agostinho Bittencourt scored 4-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Owen Gallagher struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardim América FC. If Agostinho Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes of play, Jardim América FC's Agostinho Bittencourt made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. Jardim América FC's Agostinho Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
