Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás in the 53rd minute of play. In the 58th of the match, Julian Murillo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Andréas Linquist got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 59 minutes Grêmio Papão de WC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andréas Linquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jâninho Melo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jâninho Melo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Grêmio Papão de WC's Selman Pektaşi was substituted for Hélio Botelho. Grêmio Papão de WC made a substitution. Marcus Rashford replaced Gedeon Káposztás. In the 63rd match minute, Grêmio Papão de WC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jâninho Melo to maneuver through the defense. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Geovanildo Zago made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. Andréas Linquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Geovanildo Zago, made in the 92nd minute of the game.
