Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro-Facundo Buffon having to interfere. Marcinho Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Florian Capasso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Kalju Vint quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Merusca F&P - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Pedrinho Paranaense got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th play minute Florian Capasso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Florian Capasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. When Florian Capasso came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Merusca F&P - CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florian Capasso couldn't finish the play. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauro-Facundo Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Capasso's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Marcinho Sabóia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Capasso came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Florian Capasso made the kick off in the second half. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Mauro-Facundo Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Merusca F&P - CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro-Facundo Buffon having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fellipe Capixaba who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hélder Fonseca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mauro-Facundo Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Fonseca in the 68th minute of the match. Mauro-Facundo Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play. Anderson Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fabrício Fernandes was substituted for Fábio Trevisan. Anderson Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélder Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Fonseca in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, Merusca F&P - CIMZ could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
