Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Garth Brough took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keylor Navas having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Garth Brough fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquin Gayoso, passed just outside the right post. Keylor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Garth Brough kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. The throw-in from Jorge Sainz in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Australian Youth Academy's Brown Haslett. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Roach to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Garth Brough sent off a good shot on target. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Australian Youth Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Alberto Gisbert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keylor Navas quite easily take care of the ball. Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Garth Brough capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Garth Brough really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Garth Brough blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garth Brough. Ellis Hoskin's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ellis Hoskin helped the player get up and apologised. 46 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cazalla came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

64 minutes into the game, Camilo Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Australian Youth Academy the free kick. In the 64th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. In the 67th minute, Garth Brough ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fletcher Baba in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. The Australian Youth Academy fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Australian Youth Academy's Fletcher Baba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72nd minute, Garth Brough got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Brough came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garth Brough might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Brough ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garth Brough, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 99 minutes of play, Australian Youth Academy's Garth Brough made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Australian Youth Academy players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
