When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Porteño Prowess FC's goalie prevented a goal. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in Porteño Prowess FC's zone, Felix Montes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Dieguez came out of the goal and Felix Montes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murillo Larios hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Leo Dieguez. Porteño Prowess FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play forced Porteño Prowess FC's goalkeeper Leo Dieguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Parisi Breton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Dieguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dieguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Kaiser was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Porteño Prowess FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Parisi Breton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Porteño Prowess FC's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Dieguez came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 55 in the game by Felix Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Leo Dieguez managed to make a qualified save. Porteño Prowess FC's players were relieved. In the 61st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leo Dieguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. With a little luck, Porteño Prowess FC's Leo Dieguez got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Porteño Prowess FC's Michael Kaiser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dieguez having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Porteño Prowess FC's Parisi Breton got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the match, Porteño Prowess FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Leo Dieguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Parisi Breton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 89th minute. Luciano Hita struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porteño Prowess FC. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Kaiser in the 92nd minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Leo Dieguez made a huge save. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Porteño Prowess FC throughout the match.
