With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Betzanos in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Campens saved Belgium from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Mbaka Mbolu made a precise shot to the right of Sebastián Sosa. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a little luck, Uruguay's Sebastián Sosa got control of the ball when Mbaka Mbolu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mbaka Mbolu struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Betzanos made a kick off. Leopold Van den Paenhuysen hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Manuel Campens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaume Vasquez.
