The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Gajewski got free with Julio Vera in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Leoni kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Karp in the 13th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Beliran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rodrigo Beliran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olgierd Gajewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Leoni in the 30th minute. Bernt Drake kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodrigo Beliran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Olgierd Gajewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Olgierd Gajewski in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olgierd Gajewski made a kick off. With his leg Rodrigo Beliran managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Gajewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 71st minute. ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Saturnino Ibañez was substituted for Olgierd Gajewski. ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Armando Lore was substituted for Melquiades Gurutz. In the 73rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Ibañez in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Edmund Sobczak sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. After 82 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Sobczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Sobczak in the 90th minute of play. Edmund Sobczak scored 2-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
