In the 42nd match minute, Litoral EC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Petri to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Bergwijn in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Steven Bergwijn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the game, Fang Yong Qiang threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match.
