In the 13th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erubiel Cambranes skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute, Canteranos Fc's Piet Goemyne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Canteranos Fc were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cordarius Hornilla took the corner. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piet Goemyne went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
