Daniel Cabrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save. When Daniel Cabrera came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the TZILACATZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Cabrera couldn't finish the play. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Cabrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Finlay Stair made a kick off. If Flavio Jorrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Demonde Jacobson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Cabrera's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Homero Thomson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Homero Thomson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Daniel Cabrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Cabrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Hipolito Tiso hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Daniel Cabrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 76th minute of play. Daniel Cabrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cabrera in the 78th minute of play. If Daniel Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cabrera in the 80th minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match, Karlus Waugh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edinho Lira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jamaica's Javan Develder shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edinho Lira but with some difficulty.
