TZILACATZIN's Celso Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 4th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Herauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Celso Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Abadia in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 18th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Mateo Leguizamo in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TZILACATZIN's Ubaldo Ioritz. 29 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celso Manni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 31 minutes, Inocencio Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TZILACATZIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inocencio Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Salvador's attentive Joshua Curbelo managed to snatch the ball when Everardo Jerardo made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. If Abram Luque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Hermengildo Abadia in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Joshua Curbelo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. Moises Fernandino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Celso Manni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of TZILACATZIN booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TZILACATZIN's Ubaldo Ioritz. Mateo Leguizamo made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Moises Fernandino. In the 59th match minute, TZILACATZIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Maraman to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Leguizamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Celso Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Manni having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Modesto Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Celso Manni in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TZILACATZIN the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Abram Luque got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ermegildo Corderall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. TZILACATZIN's Celso Manni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save TZILACATZIN from getting a goal against them. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Celso Manni made a huge save. In the 95th minute of the game Joshua Curbelo made a throw-in which Abram Luque played forward. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Salvador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
