Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Inocencio Herauso started the match with the kick off. Iker Tafalla hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. 11 minutes into the match, TZILACATZIN's Antonio Ibar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 12th match minute, TZILACATZIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Loren to maneuver through the defense. After 14 minutes, Raul Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the TZILACATZIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Raul Venegas got a free kick in the 14th minute. Celso Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Ibar's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Ibar helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in TZILACATZIN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Paraguay. Jaime Pardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Celso Manni. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in TZILACATZIN's zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Manni came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Diego Tenorio made in the 29th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Hector Covarrubias. 31 minutes into the match, Hector Covarrubias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Manni. TZILACATZIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Covarrubias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Jaime Pardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Hermengildo Abadia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Jose Sanz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Sanz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. Celso Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a little luck, TZILACATZIN's Celso Manni got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Celso Manni made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Celso Manni. Celso Manni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Celso Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 70th minute of play. Juan Diego Tenorio made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alan Campos. Hermengildo Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Maraman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, TZILACATZIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Maraman to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Jaime Pardo from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Celso Manni's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Paraguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
