Can Üstek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 5 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hipolito Kaxen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Bellmunt in the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Turko defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Kaxen. The Turko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Kaxen should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Kaxen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hipolito Kaxen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Turko's Cai Bellmunt got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hipolito Kaxen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of the match. Turko's Hipolito Kaxen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Linus Söderquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hipolito Kaxen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hipolito Kaxen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 43 played minutes Turko got a freekick which was hit by Linus Söderquist. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Kaxen having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Kaxen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Turko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cai Bellmunt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Hipolito Kaxen made a huge save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Turko's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 63 minutes into the match, Turko's goalkeeper Hipolito Kaxen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 65th minute of play forced Turko's goalkeeper Hipolito Kaxen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Bellmunt in the 67th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Kaxen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. Cai Bellmunt kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Turko's Hipolito Kaxen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Can Üstek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 84th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Turko getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cai Bellmunt hit a great ball. Hipolito Kaxen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Hipolito Kaxen managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 92 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Hipolito Kaxen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Turko.
