Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suipacha FC. Suipacha FC's Paulo Dibala got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Justino Stanislao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suipacha FC's Justino Stanislao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Dibala's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Preston Keato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. In the 51st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Stanislao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Justino Stanislao could save by the left post. A collision led to Suipacha FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Nunez Jerrold hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Dibala in the 59th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Urtsin in the 65th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justino Stanislao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Suipacha FC's Jonatan Lartaun was substituted for Jeronimo Urtsin. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Justino Stanislao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 75 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Suipacha FC's Justino Stanislao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
