Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Hernan Garcia made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Mercedario AFC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Diego Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Cresenciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jaime Pardo sped through Mercedario AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Cresenciano. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. Hernan Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 18th minute. Adolfo Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 26th minute of play forced Mercedario AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Cresenciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Angel Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Cresenciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Mercedario AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Fernando Cresenciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Mercedario AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Primitivo Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Garcia in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Ovando came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mercedario AFC's zone, Hector Covarrubias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Cresenciano came out of the goal and Hector Covarrubias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mercedario AFC made a substitution. Desiderio Enmanuel replaced Adolfo Ovando. Mercedario AFC's Fernando Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Primitivo Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fernando Cresenciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saul Lon made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Cresenciano having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Mercedario AFC got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Enmanuel. After 88 minutes, Jaime Pardo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mercedario AFC's Fernando Cresenciano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
