Júnior Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Espinar in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jundiaí -DMZ-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Júnior Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júnior Tasso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jundiaí -DMZ-'s Rômulo Pena got a free kick in the 96th minute. Honduras played a much better game than Jundiaí -DMZ- and deserved their victory. The Jundiaí -DMZ- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
