Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Maiorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bo Lennartsson to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bo Lennartsson came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Quimeras Jrs. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Lennartsson couldn't finish the play. Elias Jordy made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bo Lennartsson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 played minutes Quimeras Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Bertol. Guillermo Fontirroig's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elias Jordy firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Lennartsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute.
