In the 11th match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Maciel to maneuver through the defense. When Mexico's Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hu Zhen Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hu Zhen Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Pereira came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Maicon Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Hu Zhen Hong in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hu Zhen Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 83rd minute. Hu Zhen Hong was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Luca Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luca Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Hu Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of the match. Luca Zorita took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hu Zhen Hong. Hu Zhen Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
