Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Garin Candina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timeteo Surco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Samuel Horduña in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. 30 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Iztal Lacalle came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldir Velaz who took care of the corner kick. Waldir Velaz made a great header on AFC Viola Gigliati's corner, it was just that Honduras's Lautaro Navarro managed to reach the ball for a save. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Etxahun Domao made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Timeteo Surco kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Garin Candina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Tafalla went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Samuel Horduña hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garin Candina having to interfere. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AFC Viola Gigliati's Samuel Horduña got a free kick in the 56th minute. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Etxahun Domao in the 58 minute of the game. 59 minutes into the game, Samuel Horduña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Viola Gigliati's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 59th minute, Samuel Horduña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iztal Lacalle in the 61st minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garin Candina didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Viola Gigliati's Waldir Velaz. But to his dismay, Waldir Velaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. AFC Viola Gigliati's Frutos Sator was substituted for Waldir Velaz. 72 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Garin Candina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Etxahun Domao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Viola Gigliati's Garin Candina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Garin Candina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Garin Candina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Cabal. Garin Candina made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Milagros Cabal took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Garin Candina to make any attempt to save it. Milagros Cabal made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Espinar immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Garin Candina in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luca Espinar scored 1-6 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garin Candina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garin Candina. AFC Viola Gigliati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AFC Viola Gigliati throughout the match.
