Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes, Egídio Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivariano F.C. and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Capivariano F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Tinoco. Capivariano F.C.'s Wágner Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Tinoco in the 13th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Egídio Tinoco sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Capivariano F.C.'s Egídio Tinoco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 27th minute of the match Capivariano F.C. got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Ardoin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mario Ardoin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso did a great save. In the 29th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wágner Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute Capivariano F.C. were awarded a corner. Mario Ardoin went to the cornerflag to take it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Egídio Tinoco made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Egídio Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Egídio Tinoco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Tinoco in the 66th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egídio Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes, Mario Ardoin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capivariano F.C. and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Capivariano F.C.'s Mario Ardoin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Capivariano F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Ardoin to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Capivariano F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Uruguay for much of the match.
