In the 6th minute of the match Cassius Byrne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Bakar skillfully saved the ball. Jacob May kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Guter Tobia might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guter Tobia ran back to his position shaking his head. Guter Tobia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Urtsin during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of USA booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 30th minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Guter Tobia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Day. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Guter Tobia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guter Tobia in the 34th minute. USA's Edward Mcdonald got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 41st minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Tobia in the 45th minute of play. Marten Descamps hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Aves Negras's Marten Descamps got a free kick in the 47th minute. The supporters of USA booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marten Descamps didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 49th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Aves Negras's zone, Edward Mcdonald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Bakar came out of the goal and Edward Mcdonald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Moore. 66 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Guter Tobia came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Bakar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Monty Rogers went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Efrain Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Artal in the 76th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clarence Seedorf charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clarence Seedorf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of USA booed when Aves Negras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clarence Seedorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the last second Marcial Bakar throw himself and got hold of the ball when Khalid Parry in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sam Campbell struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Marcial Bakar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA.
