Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Berganza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Osvaldo Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Mandrak got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 13th minute. Hortêncio Mandrak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Roelfs in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Dennis Roelfs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-0. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Pisarcik, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 26th minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Roelfs in the 27th minute of the match. Dennis Roelfs scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Osvaldo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ma Lang Liang. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Roelfs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute of the match, Hortêncio Mandrak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofil Pisarcik to make the kick off. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofil Pisarcik went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute Dennis Roelfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Hortêncio Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. After 65 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Pisarcik in the 66th minute of play. Felipe Ros charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Ros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Ros hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute of the match EDI MZB got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ma Lang Liang ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 73rd minute, Dennis Roelfs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EDI MZB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Roelfs in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Roelfs in the 81st minute of the match. After 84th play minutes Teofil Pisarcik shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Marcos Cotilla and just under the crossbar into goal. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when EDI MZB's Teofil Pisarcik shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. EDI MZB made a substitution. Natanael Sá replaced Magno Gaspar. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ma Lang Liang in the 94th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Barrios during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Teofil Pisarcik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The EDI MZB fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
