Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) 4 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 8th minute, Rickard Erserman made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Anton Björnberg came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lorenzo Yepes charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Yepes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, one of El Salvador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Salvador. El Salvador:s Ricardo Zorita showed great skill when he stopped Chen Feng Jian:s penalty. In the 18th minute, Samuel Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Abel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out and tried to block the shot, but Samuel Abel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 20th minute. In the 24th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Erserman in the 28th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Abel went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 39thth minute of the game Rickard Erserman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute, Rickard Erserman made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 47th minute, Samuel Abel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Rickard Erserman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lorenzo Yepes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karlos Novoa in the 59th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Valentino Ferrant hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Tobías Izamit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Tobías Izamit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Florencio Jax notched a goal, 11-1, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eladio Araujo in the 81st minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eladio Araujo in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eladio Araujo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-1. Samuel Abel might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Zorita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samuel Abel ran back to his position shaking his head. Inter de Chillán's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
