Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kacper Wasikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrian Nicolae was slow to take the kick. During this time S.D. Bajen's players had a chance to rest. Lincoln Hand struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.D. Bajen. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spencer Holder having to make a save. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spencer Holder having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Spencer Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lincoln Hand managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.D. Bajen's supporters rose to their feet, but Lincoln Hand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Wasikowski in the 20th minute of play. Lincoln Hand kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spencer Holder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Spencer Holder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lincoln Hand struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. After 43 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. In the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. S.D. Bajen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Spencer Holder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Nicolae in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Spencer Holder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Spencer Holder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. S.D. Bajen's Korey Benedict was substituted for João Rodrigo. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Spencer Holder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S.D. Bajen's Sam Malone was substituted for Kacper Wasikowski. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Malone in the 90th minute of the match. Primitivo Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, S.D. Bajen's Sam Malone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.
