An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Domiku in the 10th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Gallo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Aurelio Laurgain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Telesforo in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Domiku in the 37th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Aldo Roano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Aldo Roano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Lluques having to interfere. Eduardo Fontirroig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Laurin during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Serafin Laurin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Felipe Lluques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Alberdi de América's zone, Alfredo Ferrant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Lluques came out of the goal and Alfredo Ferrant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberdi de América made a substitution. Esteban Nevada replaced Zeledon Ipar. In the 64th minute, Elias Telesforo made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 67th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. If Elias Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso de la Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. During the 72nd minute of the match Serafin Laurin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Serafin Laurin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 73 played minutes Alberdi de América got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Laurin. Mario Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Felipe Lluques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Domiku in the 78th minute of the match. If Mario Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Juan Domiku cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. Aldo Roano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Felipe Lluques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Fernandino in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Alberdi de América were the better team. Alberdi de América's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
