After 34 minutes Jaru-Uaru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Aaron Alcocer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jaru-Uaru's Frederico Zonta did a great save. In the 36th minute, Jaru-Uaru's Humberto Urbano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Frederico Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. 54 minutes into the match, Humberto Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 64thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaru-Uaru's Frederico Zonta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Frederico Zonta made a huge save. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Frederico Zonta in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Jaru-Uaru's Evandro da Costa got a free kick in the 78th minute. Aaron Alcocer in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Frederico Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Dagoberto Prestes had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
