Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5thth minute of the game Nemesio Tximitx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Luis Rubio hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Nemesio Tximitx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. Nemesio Tximitx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 18 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Leon Acevedo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 22nd minute, Nemesio Tximitx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Tximitx in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes of play, ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Nemesio Tximitx made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nemesio Tximitx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. After 38 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Juan Manuel Cruz scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 5-0. 43 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Tximitx. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Lorenzo Yepes got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Nemesio Tximitx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Nemesio Tximitx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Tximitx in the 51st minute of the match. When Rodrigo Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Martinez couldn't finish the play. Nemesio Tximitx took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Fernando Bot was substituted for Aaron Min. After a defensive mix-up in ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Cesaro came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s Cleto Onbera was substituted for Leon Acevedo. In the 71st minute, one of El Salvador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Salvador. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.. Nemesio Tximitx stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardo Zorita. 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Tximitx in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Luis Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Nemesio Tximitx left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. The supporters of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Arne Åberg struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bengt-Arne Åberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Arne Åberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of El Salvador booed when ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Bot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Bengt-Arne Åberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. fully deserved thier win.
