Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Lain's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Gustaw Czerny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaw Czerny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Gustaw Czerny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaw Czerny. Jaroslaw Bako made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play. Samuel Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Penny lane F.C's Roth De Cuéllar got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Lain in the 31st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Penny lane F.C's Valentin Lain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After having played for 41 minutes, Gustaw Czerny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penny lane F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaw Czerny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Gustaw Czerny tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaw Czerny in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Lain to make the kick off. The supporters of Penny lane F.C booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Penny lane F.C's Jaroslaw Bako proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Penny lane F.C from getting a goal against them. After 57 minutes, Nicolas Otamendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penny lane F.C and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Nicolas Otamendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jaroslaw Bako didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 64th minute, Gustaw Czerny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Samuel Jonsson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penny lane F.C. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Lain in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Roth De Cuéllar got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gustaw Czerny. After having played for 83 minutes, Valentin Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penny lane F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Lain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaw Czerny, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Czerny in the 92nd minute of play. When Penny lane F.C's Samuel Jonsson in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute Samuel Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Penny lane F.C had played much better football throughout.
