Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Casimiro Cordarell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lautaro Navarro. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Reynaldo De Mitri, made in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Sebastian Villa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tito Chayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 18 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Lehen. In the 21stth minute of the game Hernan Lehen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Nippur de Lagash 2's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Tito Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Honduras's Sebastian Villa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gavino De Mitri in the 31 minute of the game. Hernan Lehen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Casimiro Cordarell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Casimiro Cordarell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casimiro Cordarell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Cordarell went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Lehen was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Nippur de Lagash 2's Casimiro Cordarell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Lehen in the 54th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Hernan Lehen notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tito Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milagros Cabal lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match Israel Oliviero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Cordarell in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Casimiro Cordarell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes in the game Gavino De Mitri did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Casimiro Cordarell. If Hernan Lehen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Oliviero in the 79th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Nippur de Lagash 2's Hernan Lehen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Nippur de Lagash 2 had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
