Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Alejo Niva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 8th play minutes Severo Ganix shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Joaquin Gayoso and just under the crossbar into goal. Alejo Nivas short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Camilo Franco charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Franco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Alejo Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Alejo Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Santhiagos Feli Club's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Baldomero Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Alejo Niva sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Urbasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Dimas in the 32nd minute of play. Enzo Pelayo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Ganix's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute of the match, Severo Ganix tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 42 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uruguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santhiagos Feli Club the free kick. After 42 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. 43 minutes into the match, Severo Ganix notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alejo Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Santhiagos Feli Club's Clemente Mitxel was substituted for Matias Dimas. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a free kick in the 48th minute. Joaquin Gayoso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Enzo Pelayo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severo Ganix to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Ganix came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Severo Ganix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severo Ganix in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Santhiagos Feli Club's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Urbasa came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baldomero Urbasa, 5-2. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Seco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baldomero Urbasa. That made the score 5-3 in the 67 minute of play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kevin Carballal hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Urbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 78th minute. After 80 minutes Santhiagos Feli Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Jaime Cazalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baldomero Urbasa quite easily take care of the ball. When Santhiagos Feli Club's Severo Ganix in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Alejo Niva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Baldomero Urbasa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teo Venceslao charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Venceslao the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baldomero Urbasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jaime Cazalla. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Santhiagos Feli Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Venceslao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 minutes of play Santhiagos Feli Club's Teo Venceslao was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Camilo Franco fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 99th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Santhiagos Feli Club.
