Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severo Ganix started the match with the kick off. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Enzo Pelayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Enzo Pelayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Niva in the 12th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Santhiagos Feli Club got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Vincent. In the 19th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Urbasa. Santhiagos Feli Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santhiagos Feli Club's goalie prevented a goal. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Navarro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Urbasa saved Santhiagos Feli Club from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Baldomero Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Niva in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Urbasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 61st minute. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Santhiagos Feli Club's Baldomero Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 65th minute of play. Baldomero Urbasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 67th minute. After 70 minutes Honduras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enzo Pelayo who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 73 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Baldomero Urbasa managed to make a qualified save. Santhiagos Feli Club's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Matias Dimas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Matias Dimas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Urbasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Baldomero Urbasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Honduras booed when Santhiagos Feli Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Lordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute of the match. Dionisio Vincent made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alejo Niva. Santhiagos Feli Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
