Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 minutes of play, Peru's Milagros Fraga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guilherme Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Peru booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sol Bartlett didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Guilherme Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 38th minute, Nathanial Coppack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Anton Swanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 63rd minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anton Swanson in the 66 minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nathanial Coppack kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Guilherme Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Gallo went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Miami Futbol Club.
