Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 4th minute of play forced Fortinero hasta la muerte's goalkeeper Bartolo Sayvion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Bartolo Sayvion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fortinero hasta la muerte's goalkeeper Bartolo Sayvion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bartolo Sayvion came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Rico came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Sayvion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fortinero hasta la muerte's Bartolo Sayvion. Bartolo Sayvion was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Baumar in the 53rd minute of play. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartolo Sayvion in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 63 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Rico came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Fortinero hasta la muerte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. 82 minutes into the match, Fortinero hasta la muerte's goalkeeper Bartolo Sayvion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Fortinero hasta la muerte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 84th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Sayvion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolo Sayvion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Bartolo Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolo Sayvion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fortinero hasta la muerte's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Sayvion came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
