After a rather tough play, Capivariano F.C.'s 白奕希 got a free kick in the 46th minute. Dylan Sarmiento took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wágner Antunes. Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giovanni Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Nistor Panaiteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes in the game, Tomas Berganza dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 68th minute Egídio Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Capivariano F.C. made a substitution. Bernard Juroszek replaced Ernani Paraíba. 73 minutes into the game, Jose Carita threw the ball into play from the sideline. Capivariano F.C.'s Thomas Berg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
