With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 12th minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodney Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Peru booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Hoover didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trey Echols in the 80th minute of the match. Chance Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guilherme Veiga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trey Echols in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. The Racing Miami Futbol Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
