Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mo Salah took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Clemence having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Mo Salah came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match Clifford Hamilton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, John Aldridge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Aldridge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute of the match, Mo Salah tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lautaro Navarro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14th minute, Mo Salah made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alexander Arnold made in the 18th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nilson Snabl however managed to control. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 20th minute of the match. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Duke Carnduff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duke Carnduff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Alexander Arnold with Nilson Snabl as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 35 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Mo Salah took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute, Mo Salah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mo Salah struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. After 62 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mo Salah in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Emanuel Ocampo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manly FC's Alexander Arnold got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Manly FC's Mo Salah in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, John Aldridge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and John Aldridge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Pete Wittber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 78th minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manly FC's Mo Salah got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, John Aldridge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, John Aldridge cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Manly FC were the better team. Manly FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
