Thanks to some nice moves Ramon Del Piero could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silvio Oso in the 18 minute of the game. Venezuela's attentive Jose Correa managed to snatch the ball when Czeslaw Kostrzewski made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Faustin Ostermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meninos De Cotia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Faustin Ostermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Faustin Ostermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustin Ostermann in the 27th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustin Ostermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Meninos De Cotia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Oso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Meninos De Cotia's Faustin Ostermann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustin Ostermann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Faustin Ostermann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Meninos De Cotia's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Hugo Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustin Ostermann in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Meninos De Cotia's Silvio Oso. Hugo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 59th minute of play. Hugo Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 65th minute. Hugo Rodrigues made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. The tension between the Venezuela and the Meninos De Cotia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Seco in the 84th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugo Rodrigues. Hugo Rodrigues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Seco in the 91st minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Jeremias Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Meninos De Cotia booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meninos De Cotia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
