Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Qiao Qi Bo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loco Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kristian Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Kristian Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe S.K.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Martinsson came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s Cruz Lentz got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 37th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qiao Qi Bo. Octav Chificeac hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Kristian Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Martinsson having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After 57 played minutes Fenerbahçe S.K. got a freekick which was hit by Sherman Eldridge. Kristian Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Daniel Trillkott's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Kristian Martinsson made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Fenerbahçe S.K. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Felice Patricelli hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper Kristian Martinsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Martinsson having to interfere. Sherman Eldridge kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes, Felice Patricelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe S.K. and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felice Patricelli kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Kristian Martinsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felice Patricelli was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 95 played minutes Fenerbahçe S.K. got a freekick which was hit by Felice Patricelli. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fenerbahçe S.K. throughout the match.
