Cachila's Gustavo Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 5th minute of play. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Terri Moco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. If Facundo Cadaval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Terri Moco in the 23rd minute. If Terri Moco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Terri Moco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32 minutes, Terri Moco made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Terri Moco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terri Moco, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Godfredo Tab hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when A.A. Cachila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

A.A. Cachila's Seymour Skinner was substituted for Roberto Lapurdi. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terri Moco to strike the kick off in the second half. Terri Moco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Terri Moco might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cachila getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ulises Elia hit a great ball. With a little luck, A.A. The goalkeeper, Gustavo Hartz, was totally fooled by Mexico's Joel Gaona, who 91 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 95 minutes into the game, A.A. Cachila's Rodrigo Astudillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, A.A. Cachila could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
