Marcelo Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Armani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomás Barral in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomás Barral's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 72 minutes, Thomás Barral made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rejunte de perros made a substitution. Jeremias Stephen replaced Serge Grandidier. Marcelo Armani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcelo Armani but with some difficulty. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rejunte de perros.
