Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Abelardo Medeiros made the kick off and thus started the match. Dito Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes SE Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Dito Donatello. Edmundo Espiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Will Muralhas. SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SE Palmeiras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 10th minute. Will Muralhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Villa's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Ian Cerezo made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Medeiros got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Godoi. 27 minutes into the match, Moises Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Will Muralhas. SE Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Ian Cerezo in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Roberto Andrade got a free kick in the 38th minute. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Medeiros hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Christiano Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SE Palmeiras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Oswaldo Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Palmeiras's protests and gave Oswaldo Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Oswaldo Godoi hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Natanael Paraense in the 64 minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Ian Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natanael Paraense made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Will Muralhas in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd match minute, SE Palmeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
