That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tito Chayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Cordarell, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Hernan Lehen tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 14th minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Cordarell scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gavino De Mitri fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nippur de Lagash 2's protests and gave Gavino De Mitri a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Gavino De Mitri. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Cordarell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Cordarell in the 30th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Reynaldo De Mitri in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. 39 minutes into the game, Benjamin Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nippur de Lagash 2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. A collision led to Nippur de Lagash 2 getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Benjamin Navarro hit a great ball. Casimiro Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Chayo having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo De Mitri. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Casimiro Cordarell made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Tito Chayo managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Casimiro Cordarell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Casimiro Cordarell sped through Honduras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. A sloppy throw-in by Sergio Dantae in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Nippur de Lagash 2's Israel Oliviero got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tito Chayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Cordarell in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Casimiro Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nippur de Lagash 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Cordarell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
