Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leocadio Teja kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Leocadio Teja got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Inocencio Celino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Xano Villerias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 27th minute of the match, Leocadio Teja got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Fidalgo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Eulalio Ygnacio in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. In the 39th minute, Florentino Fidalgo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 43 minutes into the game, Artigas's Florentino Fidalgo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.

Artigas's Sadurni Nadal was substituted for Florentino Fidalgo. Artigas's Lekubegi Turiel was substituted for Saturnin Sanches. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lia Engraba in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When Artigas's Lia Engraba in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Lia Engraba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lia Engraba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lia Engraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lia Engraba came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artigas's Sadurni Nadal got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Artigas's Lia Engraba in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Lia Engraba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the game, Lekubegi Turiel landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Valentin Monteagudo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artigas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Monteagudo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Artigas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Inocencio Celino hit a great ball. Furtado Codina made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lia Engraba in the 88th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Artigas were awarded a corner. Valentin Monteagudo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Artigas's corner Inocencio Celino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Inocencio Celino sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. If Lia Engraba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artigas's Lia Engraba got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
