Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, SORRISO E. C.'s Agostinho Pombal got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Cláudio Couto hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caco Azevedo saved SORRISO E. C. from getting behind. Caco Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Caco Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by SORRISO E. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Alex Cambeiro to score against Caco Azevedo in SORRISO E. C.'s goal. 0-2 after 18 minutes. 23 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. Felipe Ros made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SORRISO E. C.'s Douglas Viana. SORRISO E. C.'s Douglas Viana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matthew Garrido, made in the 29th minute of the game. Dylan Sarmiento got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Miguel Miralles. Caco Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caco Azevedo. SORRISO E. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. SORRISO E. C.'s Caco Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 38th minute of play. Miguel Miralles took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caco Azevedo. Caco Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 42nd minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caco Azevedo. That made the score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, SORRISO E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Caco Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 68th minute of the match. Caco Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Alex Cambeiro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 74th minute of play forced SORRISO E. C.'s goalkeeper Caco Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Agostinho Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Miguel Miralles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Caco Azevedo made a huge save. After 83 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caco Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Panama's Caco Azevedo threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Caco Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Abraham Alguacil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caco Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. When the match was over Panama could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SORRISO E. C. throughout the match.
