Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 8th minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Luis Swain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Ceferino Nalo in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Dep. Union Madereros's Codruț Dumitrana. Union Madereros's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Benedicto Naelio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain. Luis Swain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th play minute Gregorio Urtsin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luis Swain. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Naelio in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Swain saved Club Dep. Union Madereros from getting behind. Club Dep. Union Madereros made a substitution. Jaime Laurgain replaced Lucas Abella. Samuel Jobo made a great header on Argentina's corner, it was just that Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Laurgain was the one to do the kick off. Samuel Jobo made a great header on Argentina's corner, it was just that Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain managed to reach the ball for a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Swain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Arotza in the 81st minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Luis Swain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes of play, Argentina's Amado Arotza made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Swain was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86thth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vicente Nevada scored 7-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Swain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Arotza in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Amado Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Dep. Union Madereros's Luis Swain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lev Yashin was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Jaime Laurgain capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Laurgain really showed his touch with that goal: 7-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Dep. Union Madereros players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Argentina.
