Samuel Jobo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benedicto Naelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Swain having to make a save. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Luis Swain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Arotza. Ceferino Nalo made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Dep. Union Madereros's Codruț Dumitrana. Argentina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
