Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rodrigo Ferdinand kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner. Salvador Tate went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cameron Leary got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute of the match Vancouver Reds got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Salvador Tate ran over to the corner to take the kick. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ferdinand came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 陆西迅 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Duardo having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Pozo. The audience held their breath when Salvador Tate in the 32nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Thiago Pliego's left hand side. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's 严霆梁 got a free kick in the 36th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Duardo. Vancouver Reds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Rodrigo Ferdinand tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Duardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, 陆西迅 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and 陆西迅 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Cameron Leary managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cameron Leary was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vancouver Reds's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salvador Tate in the 73rd minute. Omar Duardo was a little too slow when Mariano Lacasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Toussaint Alvarez hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 严霆梁 hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, 严霆梁 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
