An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Alceda in the 4th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Alceda in the 7th minute of play. Narciso Alceda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Marcos Cotilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Sayveon in the 14th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Sayveon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zlatan Dimitriev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was a little too slow when Casimiro Sayveon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. Isidoro Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. Zlatan Dimitriev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Abraham Alguacil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaparo FC's Zlatan Dimitriev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Eduardo Vidal got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Luís Eduardo Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron Barrios charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Barrios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Zlatan Dimitriev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Abraham Alguacil in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zlatan Dimitriev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Dani Boston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Dani Boston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guaparo FC made a substitution. Fernando Arenas replaced Casimiro Sayveon. In the 68th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Narciso Alceda made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The Guaparo FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Guaparo FC's Fernando Arenas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Narciso Alceda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Guaparo FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. James Duque hit a great ball. Narciso Alceda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zlatan Dimitriev. Isidoro Sarmiento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1.
