Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Clemente Tuñon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Tuñon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Renato Goycolea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Clemente Tuñon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Jonathan Ferrant throw himself and got hold of the ball when Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Clemente Tuñon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Guntademaro Goyenechea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The General Velásquez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. Guntademaro Goyenechea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 44 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guntademaro Goyenechea to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gustav Tidéksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Velásquez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustav Tidéksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Henry Tucknott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Clemente Tuñon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Tuñon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Johans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Clemente Tuñon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. General Velásquez made a substitution. Martin Švácha replaced Gustav Tidéksson. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guntademaro Goyenechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Tucknott having to interfere. After 81 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Zarpas Jons. General Velásquez's Guntademaro Goyenechea got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Clemente Tuñon scored 4-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Guntademaro Goyenechea put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When the referee ended the match the General Velásquez players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
